Talsinki Metropolitan Incubation project participants from Estonia met and pitched in front of Finnish Business Angel Network (FiBAN) investors in Helsinki.
The main focus of the Talsinki project is to develop crossborder business relations between entrepreneurs and investors based in Estonia and Finland.
On the 21th of March a closed pitching event (PitchFinland) at Maria 0-1 hub was conducted in cooperation with EstBAN, FiBAN and Talsinki project to present Estonian investment ready startups to Finnish investors and vice versa. The joint pitching event attracted over 100 FiBAN and EstBAN members.
From Estonia three startup companies, Nordic Automation Systems, Pick&Try and Smart Load Solutions, had the chance to present their business ideas in front of Finnish and Estonian investors.
According to the Estonian Talsinki project contact person Maret Kivirand this was already a third time Estonian startups had the chance to pitch and present their business ideas in front of Finnish angel investors thanks to the Talsinki project. Startups from Tehnopol came back to Estonia with valuable feedback and numerous new angel investors contacts. Altogether it was a very useful event for Estonian startups.
The incubation project Talsinki aims for developing new business relations between entrepreneurs based in Estonia and Finland. One main focus of the project is to educate, train and coach participant startups in Talsinki region with best lecturers and coaches from all over the world.
